About Nicole Mater
Nicole is passionate about growing food and supporting a healthy ecosystem. She’s an architect and professional designer, and puts those skills to work in creating garden plans and selecting ‘the right plant for the right place’.
You can often find her in her home garden, where she grows perennial crops and annual veggies. She volunteers at her daughter’s school garden (Mann Elementary, PTO Garden work days), Coahoma Orchards (3900 Labadie, Saturdays 10am-12pm), or at other MG volunteer events.
