Chick has been a Master Gardener since 2007 and is an expert on growing daylilies in St. Louis. She has her own extensive garden that has been featured in various area garden tours, and was on the 2005 National Hemerocalis Association Convention tours. She has volunteered in the MBG Jenkins Daylily Garden for over 18 years. She is a member of the Missouri Botanical Garden Daylily Association.
