Denise Pott

Denise has been growing houseplants for many years; she has two ficus that she has had for over 30 years and a mother-in- law’s tongue that she inherited from her beloved grandmother in 1983.  Denise’s 50+ houseplants include African violets, palms, ferns, and succulents; she has given up on orchids!
Denise has had a vegetable garden for six years; her philosophy is to grow the things that are expensive to purchase in the grocery stores.  She also has an herb garden.
Denise volunteers at the Conway House Garden at Faust Park, which is a historic garden of the type that a physician would have grown circa 1845.  She has been a Master Gardener since 2011.
